       Summer Fun Enrichment Weeks June 16th-19th and July 14th-17th 2008
                           Sponsored by the 21st Century Grant

Lots of fun classes will be held for this year’s K-6th grade students at the Family Center and Longville Elementary School.
Just like last summer, students will be offered a wide variety of classes to choose from such as Summer Olympics, pottery, cooking, volleyball, science and other high interest topics.
Transportation will be provided from Remer Elementary, Federal Dam/Sugar Point and Outing.
 


Camp Invention Week June 26th - 30th (Monday - Friday)
A summer program of the National Inventors Hall of Fame®

Camp Invention®
A hands-on science and creativity day camp so fun, they won’t even realize they’re learning!  Discover hidden treasure on a volcanic island, build machines to explore life under the sea, learn math concepts using carnival games, and use real tools to take apart old appliances and make your own invention.

Students participate in 5 exciting modules taught by local educators each day. 
A nationally-acclaimed museum program, Camp Invention is “Where imaginations run wild!”

This camp is for students entering grades 1-6 from both Remer and Longville Elementary (Transportation is provided from Longville, Federal Dam and Outing)

Cost:    FREE!!!  A $20 deposit check is required, but will be returned after the camp is over.  The 21st Century Grant will pay fees ($179 per student) for students of District #118.
