Tae Kwon Do

Tae Kwon Do with Scott Peterson will once again take place on Mondays and Fridays from 3:15-4:30 in the Longville Elementary Gym throughout the school year beginning on September 18th.  While the class is full at this time, if your child is interested, it's a good idea to get his/her name on the waiting list right away.  This is a very popular class!

Just for Kix Dance

Our Just For Kix dance program is being offered at Longville Elementary this year on Monday nights.  This program is offered to girls in Preschool-8th grades.  Susan Luethmers from Walker is our instructor again this year and the girls are looking forward another great season beginning September 18th and running through April.  There will be two recitals this year as well as possible opportunities for the upper elementary girls to compete in local competitions.  REMEMBER:  IF SCHOOL IS CANCELLED ON A MONDAY FOR ANY REASON, JUST FOR KIX WILL ALSO BE CANCELLED!  The class times are as follows:

Remer Enrichment Classes
The 21st Century grant is offering enrichment classes after school!
 
When:  Weeks of November 6th-December 13th  (6 weeks—the Monday classes will only be 4 sessions due to no school on November 6th and the Holiday Program on December 11th)
Where:  Remer Schools
Time:  3:15-5:20
Cost:  FREE!
Registration Due: Monday, October 30th
Students may enroll in one class—please make a 1st and 2nd choice on form.

CSI:  Investigations

4th-6th grades on Mondays
Ever wonder how detectives and scientists work together to solve mysteries or crimes?  We’ll be doing lots of experiments to learn how real forensic scientists use science to do their jobs.  Become the investigator and help us solve the mysteries!  Class limited to 12 students.

Beading and Holiday Crafts
K-2nd  grades on Mondays
3rd-6thgrades on
Wednesdays
Are you the kid who likes to bead and do crafts?  This is the class for you!!  Mrs. McKinney will be working with you to make lots of fun projects that you can keep for yourself or give as great holiday gifts!  Each class limited to 12 students.

Book and Cook Club     
2nd-3rd  grades on
Wednesdays
If you are in 2nd or 3rd grade, come and be part of a Book Club with Junie B. Jones!  We will be working with her latest book Junie B. First Grader:  Aloha-ha-ha.  If you are a Junie B. Jones fan, you know there is never a dull moment with her around!  We will enjoy making our snacks as well as reading a great book and doing fun activities.  Class is limited to 12 students.
