Home Program

Families begin the program when their child is 18 months to 2-1/2 years old.

Your Home Visitor will

come to your home to play

and read with you and your child twice a week during

the school year, scheduling visits that are convenient for your family.

You'll learn

creative new ways

to teach your child and

learn together as a

family to help your

child grow, develop and

be ready for school.

This  free program has served over 300 families in our Cass County communities since 2006! We'll begin visits prenatally or before your child is 3 months old and continue through your child's third birthday.

Weekly home visits are filled with fun activities and information about your child's development. From charting their first milestones to identifying qualities and characteristics you want in your child, Family Center Home Visitors help you, as a parent, pick out what is important to you and create ways to instill those values in your child.

Family Center Home Visiting

The PCHP program encourages healthy development through facilitated play, reading and enriched conversations using carefully chosen books and toys that are our gift to your family.

Whether you're a first time parent or a fifth time parent, Family Center Home Visiting can help strengthen your family, encourage you as a parent, and help prepare your child for school and learning.
