| | CHILD & TEEN CHECKUPS PROGRAM Child & Teen Checkups is a comprehensive child health program provided to children and teens from newborn through the age of 20 who are enrolled in Medical Assistance or Minnesota Care. Child & Teen Checkups Health Checks include: Information about good physical health Information about thoughts, feelings & relationships with others Time to ask questions and get answers about your child's health & development Complete physical exam Immunizations Hearing check Vision check Lab tests Checks on development & growth - Referral to the dentist
Get Health Checks: - Between birth & one month
- At months 2, 4, 6, 9, 12, 15 & 18
- At years 2, 3, 4, 5, & 6
- Every 2 years after age 6
Get Regular Dental Checkups: - Every 6 months starting at 3 years ( or earlier if there are problems)
Health Checks are available from: - Cass County Public Health (218)547-1340
- Your doctor or clinic
- Some local public health departments
Children enrolled in a health plan must get their Child & Teen Checkups services from providers in their health plan. Medical Assistance & Minnesota Care pay for Child & Teen Checkups services.
